Pioneer PDV-LC10 Portable DVD Player

This is one of the earliest models of portable DVD players, but if you're thinking of buying a used unit the Pioneer PDV-LC10 is a good choice. The 7" TFT active-matrix widescreen LCD has good resolution of 500 lines and nice color rendition.

For a vintage portable DVD player, this is a sturdy one but relativly slim and with a compact design. This can be a good toy for youngsters who want their own portable DVD player. It lacks many of the more advance features common in the newer models, but still has the all important parental controls and some advanced programming abilities.
